VEGAN CHOCOLATE BLISS BALLS

VEGAN CHOCOLATE BLISS BALLS

These delicious treats make for the perfect after-dinner treat. What’s more, you can whip up a big batch and give them to your gal pals as a cheeky Women’s Month spoil!

WHAT YOU NEED
1 cup almonds

¾ cup Medjool dates, pitted

¼ cup raw cocoa powder

⅛ cup maple syrup

A splash of  unsweetened almond milk (optional)

desiccated coconut, to coat
cocoa powder, to coat

HOW TO DO IT

  1.  Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until the mixture resembles a fine crumb texture that holds its shape when formed into a ball.
  2. Use a tablespoon to scoop dollops from the mixture out of the food processor. Roll the dollops into bite-sized balls between the palms of your hands. Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Roll half of the bliss balls in the desiccated coconut until completely coated, and roll the other half of the bliss balls in the cocoa powder.
  4. Store in an airtight container and place in the fridge.

TIP
Add a splash of the almond milk to alter the consistency of your mixture as needed.
